Jaguar XE Configurations
If you’re on the hunt for a dynamic, stylish, and feature-rich luxury sedan, the 2019 XE could be for you. However, it offers a wide array of options among its different trim levels. So, you’ll need to read up on them to help decide which one is the right fit.
Fortunately, the team at Jaguar Albuquerque created this informative guide. Discover what you’ll find in the Jaguar XE configurations. Then, contact us to see them in person near Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, or South Valley.
Jaguar XE – Standard Features
The Jaguar XE comes standard with lots of impressive features, starting in the performance category.
It comes with a 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that delivers 247 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. Plus, it helps the vehicle achieve an EPA-estimated 25 city/34 highway MPG.* With numbers like these, you can cruise around town for hours before needing to stop and fill up on gas.
Inside the vehicle is a stylish and sophisticated cabin filled with lots of great features. For instance, you get Luxtec seats in colors like Ebony or Latte. Then, 10-way power-adjustable front seats ensure that you’ll find your ideal seating position in no time at all.
Additionally, there are lots of great technologies that come standard, such as the InControl™ Touch Pro infotainment system. All your media options are displayed clearly on a 10-inch screen—like HD Radio™, which gives you more stations to listen to beyond the standard AM/FM ones.
Jaguar XE Premium
Next up is the Premium trim, which comes with the same engine as before. Otherwise, you could get a 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder, which delivers 180 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque and helps the vehicle achieve an EPA-estimated 32 city/42 highway MPG.*
Like the base trim, this model comes with JaguarDrive Control™. This feature lets you select from four different modes, including Eco, Dynamic, and Winter. Whether you want to prioritize efficiency or power, or get extra assistance on slick surfaces, this system can do it with ease.
You then get extra versatility for loading up the XE with 40:20:40 split-folding rear seats. If you need to fit longer items inside the vehicle, just fold down one of the sides. You get to pack in what you need and still have room for a backseat passenger or two.
With the Jaguar XE Prestige, you get to choose from three different engines. There are the two mentioned above along with a 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder that churns out 296 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. Fuel economy is at an EPA-estimated 22 city/30 highway MPG, which is still quite impressive.*
Like the aforementioned trims, this model comes with dual-zone automatic climate control. However, you now get heated front seats. With these features in place, you could quickly warm up with just the turn of a dial and push of a button.
The Prestige also comes with InControl Apps™. Just download a variety of apps onto your smartphone and plug it into the vehicle’s USB port. Everything will be accessible on the display screen and heard through the 11-speaker Meridian™ Sound System. This makes things quite convenient, as you don’t need to mess around with your phone while driving!
You then have the XE Portfolio, with the 296-horsepower 2.0L 4-cylinder mentioned above.
It also comes with All Surface Progress Control (like every other trim in the lineup). This feature acts like a low-speed cruise control system to help with low-traction situations. You set a target speed between 2.2 and 18.6 MPH, and the system will work to maintain that speed while also providing optimum traction control.
You can now get even more comfortable behind the wheel due to the 14-way power-adjustable front seats. Plus, you get perforated Windsor leather seating that have heating and cooling functions. So, no matter what the temperature is like outside, you can quickly adjust to get nice and comfy.
With the Jaguar XE R-Sport, you get to choose from all three engine options that we’ve talked about before.
Plus, you get Torque Vectoring by Braking. On tight turns, the system will apply the brakes to the inside wheel. It’ll then direct engine torque to the wheel with the most grip. The result? Having a vehicle that feels planted on even the most twisting roads.
The cabin’s appearance will change up a bit, with perforated grained leather seats. The outside will look a little different, too, with a front grille that has a Grained Black mesh insert with Satin Chrome surround. Plus, with an “R-Sport” style badge and bumper, this trim shows off its sportier side.
2019 XE Landmark
Then, you have the 2019 Jaguar XE Landmark, which is available with the 247-horsepower 2.0L or 180-horsepower 2.0L 4-cylinder engines.
However, this trim varies mainly in its appearance. On the outside, you get eye-catching design elements, such as:
- Exclusive 18-inch 10-split-spoke “Style 1049” alloy wheels
- Gloss Black side window surround, grille surround, and mirror caps
- Gloss Black exterior side vent with Landmark badging
Then, on the inside, you have perforated grained leather sport seats along with Landmark-branded metal tread plates.
Overall, you’re getting a nice mix of dynamic sports styling and refinement with this Jaguar automobile.
XE 300 Sport
What’s different between the Landmark and 300 Sport trims is that this one offers just the 296-horsepower 2.0L 4-cylinder engine.
However, like the trim above, the 300 Sport offers striking design details, both inside and outside.
For the exterior, you’ll have an exclusive set of 19-inch 5-split-spoke “Style 5031” alloy wheels with a Dark Satin Grey diamond turned finish. Plus, parts like the grille surround, window surrounds, mirror caps, and rear spoiler will come in a Dark Satin Grey finish.
Step inside the vehicle, and you’ll find a cabin with:
- 300 SPORT-branded multi-function steering wheel with Yellow contrast stitching
- Sports seats with 300 SPORT branding and Yellow contrast stitching
- Black brake calipers with 300 SPORT branding
Whether you’re sitting in the car or admiring it from the outside, it’s certainly a sight to behold.
Jaguar XE S
Finally, you have the XE S. This trim comes with a 3.0L supercharged V6 engine that produces 380 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque. Plus, you have an EPA-estimated 21 city/30 highway MPG.* Together, you’ll get that nice mix of power and fuel efficiency.
Plus, like all the other trim levels, this one is available in all-wheel drive. The system uses Intelligent Driveline Dynamics control-strategy software. With sophisticated algorithms that react intelligently to road conditions, this feature can help prevent you from losing traction on the road.
You’ll then have even more multimedia technologies inside the automobile. You get an advanced navigation system that’ll help you get from Point A to Point B in no time at all. Plus, with SiriusXM® Satellite Radio, you can enjoy over 100 stations along the way to your destination.
